Acceptable Use Policy

1. Scope

This Policy applies to all Customers, End Customers, account holders, website visitors, developers, merchants and other persons who access or use the Services.

It applies to:

• text prompts and generation instructions;
• uploaded reference images and files;
• AI-generated Outputs;
• product designs, previews and templates;
• API requests and automated integrations;
• Account, licence and subscription activity;
• Customer Stores using the Plugin;
• content attached to carts or orders; and
• attempts to access or interact with our systems.

Additional restrictions imposed by an AI Provider, payment provider, hosting provider or applicable law may also apply.

2. Permitted use

Subject to this Policy, the Services may be used for lawful activities such as:

• personalised product designs;
• print-on-demand artwork;
• custom gifts and merchandise;
• product mock-ups and previews;
• decorative illustrations;
• marketing and promotional graphics;
• original brand assets;
• educational or creative experimentation;
• commercial design ideation;
• customer-provided customisations; and
• other lawful creative purposes consistent with the intended functionality of the Services.

3. General prohibition

You must not use, attempt to use or enable another person to use the Services in a manner that:

• violates applicable law or regulation;
• infringes another person's rights;
• causes or facilitates material harm;
• misleads, defrauds or exploits another person;
• compromises the security or integrity of a system;
• circumvents technical or contractual restrictions;
• creates prohibited content;
• supports an illegal product, service or activity;
• exposes us, an AI Provider or another person to unreasonable legal, security or reputational risk; or
• is inconsistent with the intended purpose of the Services.

An Input or Output does not become permitted merely because an automated moderation system failed to block it.

4. Sexual content and exploitation

You must not use the Services to generate, modify, upload, distribute or promote:

• pornographic or explicitly sexual content;
• graphic depictions of sexual acts;
• sexual violence or coercion;
• non-consensual intimate imagery;
• sexual exploitation or trafficking;
• content created by digitally removing or altering a person's clothing without consent;
• sexualised representations of a real person without their informed consent;
• incest, bestiality or comparable abusive material;
• advertisements for illegal sexual services; or
• content intended to shame, threaten or blackmail a person through sexual imagery.

Non-explicit artistic, educational or product-related depictions may be permitted when lawful and appropriate, but we may restrict them where moderation systems cannot reliably distinguish them from prohibited material.

5. Content involving minors

Prohibited content includes:

• child sexual abuse material;
• sexualised images of children;
• fictional or AI-generated sexualised minors;
• attempts to make an adult appear to be a sexualised minor;
• grooming or sexual exploitation content;
• nudity intended for sexual gratification;
• content facilitating child trafficking or abuse; and
• requests intended to test, bypass or evade child-safety protections.

We may immediately block access, preserve relevant evidence where legally permitted and report suspected child sexual exploitation to the competent authorities or reporting organisations.

6. Violence and graphic content

You must not use the Services to generate or promote:

• graphic mutilation, torture or dismemberment;
• sadistic or celebratory depictions of real violence;
• credible threats against an identifiable person;
• instructions for carrying out violent attacks;
• content encouraging murder or serious injury;
• imagery intended to terrorise, intimidate or traumatise a targeted person;
• propaganda celebrating terrorist violence; or
• realistic fabricated evidence falsely depicting a real person committing a violent crime.

Limited non-graphic fictional, historical, journalistic or educational depictions may be permitted when lawful and not intended to glorify, encourage or facilitate harm.

7. Hate, discrimination and extremist content

You must not use the Services to create or distribute content that:

• promotes hatred or dehumanisation based on protected characteristics;
• advocates violence, exclusion or severe discrimination against a protected group;
• portrays a protected group as inherently inferior, criminal, diseased or subhuman;
• praises or recruits for a terrorist or violent extremist organisation;
• produces extremist propaganda, recruitment material or operational support;
• glorifies genocide, ethnic cleansing or crimes against humanity;
• uses hateful symbols primarily to threaten or promote hatred; or
• targets a person with slurs or abuse based on protected characteristics.

Protected characteristics may include race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, disability, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation and comparable characteristics protected by applicable law.

Documentary, educational or critical use of historical symbols may be permitted when the context clearly does not praise or promote the relevant ideology.

8. Harassment, bullying and abusive targeting

You must not use the Services to:

• threaten or intimidate an identifiable person;
• create humiliating or degrading fake imagery of a real person;
• facilitate stalking or coordinated harassment;
• reveal or encourage the publication of private contact or location information;
• create content intended to blackmail, shame or coerce;
• impersonate another person in order to damage their reputation;
• repeatedly target a person after they have clearly objected; or
• manufacture false evidence of personal misconduct.

9. Self-harm and dangerous conduct

You must not use the Services to create content that:

• encourages or glorifies suicide or self-harm;
• provides detailed instructions for carrying out self-injury;
• targets vulnerable individuals with harmful advice;
• promotes dangerous challenges likely to cause serious injury;
• encourages eating-disorder behaviour or extreme starvation; or
• presents dangerous conduct as medically safe without a legitimate basis.

Supportive, preventive, recovery-oriented, educational and awareness content may be permitted.

10. Illegal activity

You must not use the Services to facilitate, promote, conceal or profit from illegal activity, including:

• the sale or distribution of illegal goods;
• human trafficking or exploitation;
• money laundering;
• tax evasion schemes;
• organised crime;
• document forgery;
• counterfeit goods;
• illegal gambling;
• unauthorised access to computer systems;
• illegal surveillance;
• trafficking in controlled substances; or
• instructions intended to enable a specific serious offence.

General fictional, educational or crime-prevention content does not automatically violate this section, provided that it does not materially facilitate wrongdoing.

11. Weapons, explosives and dangerous goods

You must not use the Services to:

• provide operational instructions for constructing explosives or improvised weapons;
• create technical plans intended to manufacture an illegal weapon;
• advertise unlawful weapons or prohibited accessories;
• promote the use of weapons to harm an identifiable person or group;
• facilitate the evasion of weapons-control laws; or
• market dangerous substances for unlawful use.

Non-operational historical, fictional, sporting or educational depictions may be permitted where lawful.

12. Fraud, scams and deceptive practices

You must not use the Services to create or support:

• phishing pages or deceptive login screens;
• fake invoices, receipts or payment confirmations;
• fraudulent investment promotions;
• advance-fee scams;
• fake customer reviews or endorsements;
• misleading before-and-after images;
• fraudulent charity campaigns;
• counterfeit certificates or official documents;
• fake evidence for an insurance or legal claim;
• deceptive product representations intended to mislead a buyer; or
• impersonation designed to obtain money, credentials or confidential information.

Product mock-ups must not materially misrepresent the physical item, its quality, dimensions, materials, performance or included features.

13. Impersonation, synthetic media and deepfakes

You must not use the Services to create misleading synthetic media that falsely represents a real person as:

• saying something they did not say;
• endorsing a product or service without permission;
• participating in sexual or criminal conduct;
• appearing in a defamatory or humiliating situation;
• authorising a payment or commercial transaction;
• issuing an official or political statement;
• appearing in fabricated evidence; or
• acting in a way likely to cause material deception or harm.

You may only use a real person's likeness when you have an appropriate legal basis, permission or another lawful justification.

Clearly satirical, artistic or fictional content may still require disclosure that it is altered or AI-generated, especially where a reasonable viewer could mistake it for authentic material.

14. Privacy and personal data

You must not submit personal data unless you have a lawful basis and the processing is necessary for a supported purpose.

In particular, you must not:

• upload private photographs without appropriate permission;
• submit passwords, payment-card details or secret keys;
• expose confidential customer or employee information;
• process health, biometric or other highly sensitive data without an appropriate legal basis and safeguards;
• use the Services for facial recognition or identity verification unless expressly supported;
• generate or publish another person's home address, telephone number or private location;
• create non-consensual intimate or humiliating imagery; or
• use personal data collected from a Customer Store for an unrelated purpose.

Merchants must provide legally required privacy information to their End Customers and configure the Plugin according to applicable data-protection law.

15. Intellectual-property and personality rights

You must have the necessary rights or permissions for every Input you submit and every commercial use you make of an Output.

You must not use the Services to:

• reproduce a protected logo, character, artwork, photograph or design without authorisation;
• create counterfeit or confusingly similar branded products;
• imitate packaging in a way likely to mislead consumers;
• remove or falsify copyright, attribution or rights information;
• falsely suggest sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement;
• copy another seller's catalogue images or original product designs;
• use a person's face, name, voice or identity for commercial promotion without the necessary rights; or
• request minor variations intended primarily to evade another person's intellectual-property rights.

References to brands, artists, fictional characters or styles may be restricted where the request appears intended to create an infringing substitute, counterfeit product or misleading commercial association.

16. Regulated and restricted products

You must not use the Services to unlawfully promote or sell products or services subject to legal restrictions, including:

• prescription medicines;
• illegal drugs;
• tobacco or nicotine products;
• alcohol where sale or advertising is restricted;
• weapons and ammunition;
• gambling services;
• financial products;
• medical devices;
• adult services;
• endangered wildlife products;
• hazardous chemicals; or
• other age-restricted or regulated goods.

Lawful use involving regulated products remains the Customer's responsibility. The Customer must verify licences, age restrictions, warnings, advertising rules, geographic restrictions and product-safety obligations.

17. Political, electoral and civic content

You must not use the Services to:

• create deceptive media falsely showing a candidate or public official making a statement;
• fabricate election instructions, dates, locations or eligibility requirements;
• impersonate an election authority or public institution;
• suppress lawful voting through intimidation or deception;
• present fabricated political endorsements as genuine; or
• conceal legally required sponsorship or advertising disclosures.

Lawful political expression, satire and commentary may be permitted, but users are responsible for complying with election, advertising, transparency and synthetic-media disclosure rules.

18. Security and technical abuse

You must not:

• introduce malware or malicious code;
• attempt unauthorised access to any Account or system;
• scan, probe or test vulnerabilities without permission;
• interfere with service availability;
• perform denial-of-service activity;
• extract private API keys or credentials;
• evade authentication or licence validation;
• access another Customer's data;
• reverse engineer proprietary hosted components except where applicable law expressly permits it;
• scrape the Services at a rate or in a manner that causes excessive load;
• use the Services to develop or distribute malware, phishing tools or credential-stealing systems;
• manipulate requests in order to access unauthorised features; or
• intentionally submit adversarial Inputs designed to compromise the underlying systems or providers.

Security researchers must obtain authorisation before testing systems that are not expressly included in a published vulnerability-disclosure programme.

19. Usage limits and fair use

You must respect all plan, generation, domain, Account, API, storage and rate limits.

You must not:

• create multiple Accounts to obtain additional free generations;
• use VPNs, proxies or rotating IP addresses primarily to avoid limits;
• modify cookies or identifiers to reset quotas;
• share a licence beyond its authorised domain limit;
• resell access without written permission;
• automate generation at a volume not permitted by the selected plan;
• cause unreasonable load on our infrastructure or an AI Provider;
• use stolen, fabricated or unauthorised payment methods; or
• exploit a technical defect to obtain unpaid usage.

We may apply reasonable technical controls, including rate limiting, IP-based restrictions, session identifiers, CAPTCHA or Turnstile verification, usage counters and temporary request queues.

20. Responsibilities of Customer Store operators

A merchant that installs or operates AI Product Customizer is responsible for the activity occurring through its Customer Store, including activity initiated by End Customers.

Merchants must:

• publish appropriate terms, privacy information, cookie information and refund conditions;
• inform End Customers when an AI service processes their prompts or images;
• obtain any consent or permission required for uploaded content;
• configure moderation rules and generation limits appropriately;
• prevent minors from accessing unsuitable functionality;
• respond to intellectual-property and privacy complaints;
• review designs before printing, manufacturing or fulfilment;
• verify that Outputs do not infringe third-party rights;
• ensure product previews are not materially misleading;
• comply with consumer, advertising, tax and product-safety laws;
• secure WordPress, WooCommerce, hosting, credentials and API keys;
• maintain an appropriate human review process for commercial Outputs; and
• promptly investigate and act on credible reports of prohibited use.

Merchants must not present AI Product Customizer as the seller, manufacturer or fulfilment provider of their physical products.

21. AI limitations and user review

AI Outputs are probabilistic and may contain:

• visual inaccuracies;
• incorrect or misspelled text;
• unexpected symbols or objects;
• distorted anatomy or geometry;
• content not requested by the user;
• similarities to existing works;
• cultural or factual inaccuracies;
• unsafe production details; or
• material unsuitable for commercial use.

Users and merchants must review every relevant Output before publishing, selling, printing, manufacturing or otherwise relying on it.

You must not treat an automated moderation result, successful generation or absence of a warning as confirmation that an Output is lawful, accurate, safe or non-infringing.

22. Moderation, investigation and enforcement

We may use automated systems, manual review or third-party provider controls to detect and respond to potential violations.

Where reasonably necessary, we may:

• reject or modify a generation request;
• block an Input or Output;
• remove or disable access to stored content;
• apply additional rate limits;
• disable a feature or integration;
• temporarily suspend an Account, licence or domain;
• permanently terminate access;
• remove unused promotional credits;
• preserve relevant logs or evidence;
• require additional verification before restoring access;
• notify the Customer Store operator of End Customer misuse;
• cooperate with payment, hosting or AI Providers;
• report suspected illegal activity to competent authorities where required or legally justified; or
• take another proportionate action necessary to protect users, third parties or the Services.

22.1 Factors considered

Enforcement decisions may consider:

• the nature and severity of the content;
• whether the conduct appears intentional;
• whether harm has occurred or is likely;
• the scale and frequency of the activity;
• previous warnings or violations;
• the risk to children or vulnerable persons;
• legal requirements;
• provider restrictions;
• technical and security risks; and
• whether a less restrictive measure is sufficient.

22.2 Immediate action

We may act without prior notice where we reasonably believe that delay could:

• expose a child to exploitation;
• facilitate imminent violence or serious harm;
• enable fraud or security compromise;
• result in illegal content being distributed;
• cause significant infrastructure disruption; or
• violate a binding legal or provider requirement.

22.3 Notice of action

Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide information explaining:

• the action taken;
• the content or activity affected;
• the relevant section of this Policy or applicable legal basis;
• whether automation materially contributed;
• the duration of any restriction; and
• how to request a review.

We may withhold details that would compromise security, facilitate evasion, expose another person's data or interfere with a legal investigation.

23. Reporting prohibited or illegal content

You may report suspected misuse, illegal content, intellectual-property infringement or a safety concern by emailing:

A useful report should include:

• your name and contact email;
• a clear description of the reported issue;
• the relevant URL, store, Account or order reference;
• enough information to locate the content or activity;
• the reason you believe it is illegal or violates this Policy;
• supporting evidence, where reasonably available; and
• a statement that the information supplied is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Do not send illegal files, child sexual abuse material, passwords, secret keys or unnecessary personal data. Where possible, provide a URL, identifier or description rather than attaching harmful content.

23.1 Intellectual-property notices

An intellectual-property notice should also identify:

• the protected work, trademark or other right;
• the rights owner;
• the reporter's authority to act;
• the allegedly infringing material; and
• the action requested, such as removal or restriction.

23.2 False or abusive reports

You must not knowingly submit false, misleading, fraudulent or abusive reports. Repeated misuse of the reporting process may result in restrictions.

24. Requesting a review

If you believe that content or access was restricted incorrectly, you may request a review by contacting:

• the Account email or merchant domain;
• the date of the decision;
• the relevant request or case identifier;
• the reason you believe the decision was incorrect;
• relevant context or evidence; and
• the resolution you are requesting.

We may uphold, reverse or modify the original action. A review does not guarantee restoration where another provider or a legal requirement independently prevents the requested use.

We may reject repetitive requests that provide no new information, as well as requests submitted through abusive or fraudulent means.

25. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to address:

• new features or use cases;
• new legal or regulatory requirements;
• changes to AI Provider policies;
• new security or abuse risks;
• changes in industry safety standards; or
• lessons identified through enforcement.

The current version will be published on this page and identified by the “Last updated” date.

Where a material change affects existing Customers, we may provide additional notice through email, the Account, Plugin dashboard or website.
